Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Week 3)

    Hi!! How are you? Today, I'd like to write about first chapter in this blog.
 
    At the beginning, McGonagall who is a teacher of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and Dumbledore who is a head teacher of it came muggle world and left Harry in front of Dursley's house to have Harry bring up until he becomes eleven years old.
    After that, Harry has lived in Dursley family's house since he was young. Dursley family members are Vernon, Petunia, and Dudley. They hate magic and won't believe in existence of magic. In fact, Harry doesn't know his talent of magic at this time.

    I haven't finished this chapter yet, so I am going to write continuation in next blog...

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Week 2)

    Hi, ladies!! What did you do today? I took part in a festival held in Osaka and performed our dance whose title is "Hanamichi". Today was rainy, but we had a good time :)

    By the way, I'm going to read "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" in autumn semester. I like Harry Potter series very much, so I made up my mind to read it.

    First of all, I introduce the main characters of it. First is ,of course, "Harry Potter". He is a central character in this book. He is an ordinary boy in the world where people who can't use magic live. Second is "Ron  Weasley". He is one of the Harry's best friends, and his family members are all magician who have red hair. Third is "Hermione Granger". She is a girl who was born between muggle parents, and is good at memorizing (studying). She helps Harry and Ron by using her knowledge.

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 14)

  Hello. This blog is the continuation of the previous story.

  First, Pooh and Piglet went to Christpher Robin's house, and met him. Second, they went to Eeyore's house and met him, too. Pooh and Piglet was worried about the condition of the friends' house, butChristpher Robin's house and  Eeyore's house were not broken by wind. Then, they went to Owl's house and were surprised at the condition of the house. Surprisingly, the house all was broken by wind and Owl was very dissapointed. His house was built on the big fine tree but the tree was turned over. So Pooh and Piglet decided to look for a new tree which will be able to become his new house.Christpher Robin and Eeyore came to there and they started to look for a new tree.
  Everyone looked for a new tree again and again, at last Eeyore found not only a good tree but also a new house!! Everyone gathered there, but they looked not happy because the house was Piglet's!!!  Eeyore didn't know that, but Pooh and Christpher Robin knew that. Owl, of course he didn't know that, was very glad to find the house. Pooh told Piglet to say the house, but Piglet said I had no choice in order to make Owl happy. Christpher Robin who heard what Piglet said explained truth to Owl and told everyone to have a party for Piglet because he was a very kind animal;)

  The story ends the beginning of the party. I was impressed  by their kindness, happiness, and so on by reading the whole story. It is good opotunity to know their friendship deeply.

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 13)

  Hi, everyone!! How are  you? I'm fine :)Do you like summer? I don't like summer, but I love festival♡♡I'm also going to take part in various fastivals♪”So, I'm looking for arrival of summer vacation!!

  By the way, I'm going to write about the windy day.
  There is the place called "Thoughtful Spot" by everyone. Pooh is always thinking various things at the spot. The spot is between Pooh's house and Piglet's house, so they naturally gather the spot whenever they want to see each other.  
  In the day, Pooh met Piglet and they wanted to see everyone, so they went to their friends' house. They named the day "a friendly Thursday" because the day was Thursday. However, wind was very strong, so they were holding together strongly not to be flown away.

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 12)

  Hi, ladies ♪"
  I am going to write about the continuation of last blog.

  Rabbit, Piglet, and Pooh visited Tigger and took him to forest to make him unbouncy, that is to say, they tried to make him lose his way. Tigger who didn't know what they were thinking of followed them easily, and then Tigger went around while bouncing high when they had a break, so Rabbit pulled Piglet and Pooh to behind a tree and they hide not to be found by Tigger. Tigger who eas left alone in the forest sought Rabbit, Piglet, and Pooh, but he couldn't find them soon.
  On the other hand, three was walking to go back to their house. Walking, walking, walking...but they saw the same scenery again and again...they also lost thier way. So, they decided to separate into two groups, one was Pooh and Piglet and the other was Rabbit, and to seek the right way.
  Pooh and Piglet were walking around, in that time, Pooh's stomach rang!! His stomach reacted to the spot where honey was, so they used the reaction and went back home. At the same time, Rabbit was trembling for sounds of forest. They all made him scared, at that time, Tigger rushed him!!! Rabbit was very surprised at him,  but felt ease because he could meet acquaintance.
  Rabbit and Tigger went back together and met Pooh, Piglet, and his friends who were called to gather by Pooh. Tigger looked sad  because Rabbit told him not to bounce for good. However, Pooh, Pigret and his friends all said we like bouncy Tigger!! So, Rabbit allowed Tigger to bounce, then Tigger seemed very happily!!

  The story was heart-warming story, I think.
  I like it and am looking forward to next story ♡♡

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 11)

  Hello, everyone !!
  I am going to write about the continuation.
 
  In last blog, Pooh and Piglet were listening to Rabbit who was talking about how to make Tigger unbouncy.
  This blog will start after that.

  Rabbit, Piglet, and perhaps also Pooh who looked very sleepy were thinking of the way, and then Rabbit came up with a good idea. The way was this. Rabbit, Piglet, and Pooh will take Tigger to the forest, walk everywhere and leave Tigger alone in the forest. Piglet said that was a nice idea and agreed with it. Pooh was asked whether he agreed or not by Rabbit, and said "Undoubtably". So they visited Tigger.

  What will occur after that?!
  I am excited about the story!

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 10)

  Hi, everyone!!
  Today,I'm going to write about Tigger's story.

  One day Rabbit and Piglet were sitting outside in front of the door of Pooh's house while listening to Rabbit. Pooh was sitting with them. It was a sleepy summer afternoon, and the forest was full of gentle sounds such as birds, river, and so on. So Pooh seemed to be very sleepy and not to be listening to Rabbit. Rabbit asked them how to make Tigger unbouncy. Rabbit was fed up with Tigger's active jump. Piglet said it was difficult to find a good idea. Rabbit asked Pooh "How about you?" Pooh said "I listened,  but I had a small piece of fluff in my ear. Could you say it again, please, Rabbit?" - I thought Pooh was sleeping at the time- Rabbit said again for Pooh.

  In this story I thought Pooh was very cute :)

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 9)

  Hello, everyone!!
  I'm going to write about the continuation of the previous blog.
  In the last blog, Pooh was going back to pick pinecones up.
  Now, this blog will start after that.

  Pooh brought a big pinecone and a littele one so that he could judge which one came first, and threw them into the river. Then, the big one came out first. He enjoyed the game and played with his friends to do it. The game was named "Poohsticks" because they used sticks instead of pinecones when they played the game.
  One day, Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, and Roo was playing the game. They threw their sticks into the river, ran the other side of the bridge and watched the river. Then, the grey big one which was Roo's stich came out first, so Roo was very excited! But, Rabbit said " Grey and big ... that was Eeyore!!!" They were surprised to hear the remark and looked the grey big one. That was really Eeyore!! So they thought of the way to rescue him. Rabbit came up with a good idea and explained the idea. "Well, if we all threw stones and things into hte river on one side of Eeyore, the stones would male waves, and the waves would wash him to the other side." Pooh and his friends nodded. And after they did so, Eeyore came out at the bank. They was glad to rescue him and looked happily:)

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 8)

 

 

  Hello,  everyone! How are you:)?

  Pooh is thinking of various thing at his thoughtful spot!
  Then, I'm going to write about the book.

  Pooh, Christopher Robin, and Piglet was looking at the stream Forest made on the wooden bridge. Christopher Robin could get his chin on to the top rail, but it was more fun to stand on the top rail, so he could watch the river flowing slowly. Pooh could get his chin on to the bottom rail, but it was more fun to lie down and get his head under it, so that he could watch it closely. Piglet couldn't get his chin like Pooh did, so he lay down, too.
  One day, Pooh was walking to the bridge while making a poet about pinecones because there were many pinecones on each side of him. So he picked a pinecone up, and came up with a poet. The poet was this.

  " Here is a mystery.
About a littele fir-tree.
Owl says it's his tree.
And Kanga says it's her tree."

  It didn't make sense. He brought pinecone to the bridge and threw it into the river. Then, it came on the other side! Pooh wondered if he did again? So, he went back and picked some up.

  I am going to read next because I am looking forward to know it!

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 7)

  I try to write the continuation of the previous story.

  Tigger and Roo stayed the middle of the tree. Actually, they didn't try to go down because of the beautiful sight. Pooh, Piglet, Christpher Robin, and Eeyore came to the tree and thought how to go down. Various ideas were come and rejected, and at last Christpher Robin came up with a nice idea.The idea was to spread his tunic and to catch Roo and Tigger.
  Roo jumped first and was caught by the tunic. Roo flied as if he were a bird, so he looked very excited! And Tigger looked very anxiously to see the Roo's jumping. But he jumped at last, and was caught by the tunic as same as Roo was done.

  I was so excited when they jumped! I felt the good relationships between Pooh and Tigger and so on. They tried hard to rescue their friends, so I was impressed the friendship!!

  I am looking forward to reaeding this book ♪"

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 6)

  Main character of this time is Tigger, but at first this book starts always about Pooh.
  One day Pooh wanted to meet Eeyore because Pooh haven't seen him since yesterday. So he started walking to visit Eeyore's house with singing a song. But suddenly Pooh remembered Owl because Pooh haven't seen him since the day before yesterday, so he started walking to visit Owl instead of Eeyore. Pooh is a moody person. After the thinking, Pooh visited Piglet's house and met Piglet. Piglet was planting acorn around his house. Pooh thought of Kanga, Roo, and Tigger, so Pooh and Piglet decided to visit them.
  At the same time, Kanga, Roo, and Tigger were taking a walk around their house where they lives together. Roo asked Tiger "Can you fly like Owl? " Then Tigger answered "Yes! we're good flyer, only don't want to fly." They were at the Six Pine Trees. And Roo asked Tigger "Can you climb this highest tree?" Tiger answered "Yse, of  course." So, Roo asked Tigger to climb the highest tree with Roo carried on his back, and Tigger staretd to climb the tree.
  However Tigger didin't clibmed the top of the tree and stayed there with Roo.
  Why didn't Tigger climb the top of the tree?

  Next, maybe understand the reason...

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 5)

  Hello, everyone! How are you doing? I had a good time on this weekend. Then I will write the book.

  This story is about the thing looked for by Rabbit and called "Small". One day Pooh was sitting in his house, counting his pots of honey. Rabbit came to his house when Pooh counted fourteen, so Pooh muddled fourteen or fifteen. Rabbit said "Have you seen Small anywhere about?" Pooh said "I don't think so." Rabbit asked Pooh to look for "Small" and went out.
  Pooh stumped to go to Piglet's house, but he fell into a hole. Then,  he heard the squeakily voice in underneath, surprisingly that was Piglet!! Actually, the hole was made by Pooh and Piglet to catch "Heffalumps" which was created by Christopher Robin and that means an elephant. Piglet trembled if "Heffalumps" come  here, and after a while he was dreaming. And Pooh thought of Small. Actually, Small's real name was Very Small Beetle, but it was called for short Small.
  After a while, Christopher Robin came to the hole and rescued Pooh and Piglet. After that, Piglet said "There's something climbing up your back!  It's Small!!"
  Thus, Small was found!!!!

  This story also makes me feel peacefully :)

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 4)

Hi, everyone! How did your this weekend? I went to Kyoto Pharmaceutical University to practice dance with "sodefriends" who can dance "Kyoen Sodefure!", so I had a good time this weekend.

By the way, there was a change in this book!! Last week, Pooh and Tigger looked for Tigger's breakfast, but they have been looking for it yet. Next Pooh 's house, Pooh and Tigger went to Piglet's house because Tigger said "what tigers like the best is everything except honey". Tigger ate acorns at once when they arrived at Piglet's house, but Tigger said "I hate acorns". So Pooh and Tigger and Piglet went to Eeyore's house and Tigger ate thistle grown up by  Eeyore. But Tigger said also "I hate thistle", so they went to the house of Kanga and Roo. In that time, Roo was about to eat his medicine to become strong and Tigger went there closer. Suddenly, Tigger ate the medicine of Roo. Roo looked very happy because he didn't have to eat his medicine and Tigger did, too. Tigger said "This was what I like the best!". But, Pooh and Piglet said Tigger was very strong enough. Without saying that, Tigger eats the medicene for each meals and lives in their house.

This story is very interesting, I think ;)

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 3)

  Hello, everyone! What did you do in your GW? I took part in the festival held in Osaka and went to movie theater to watch "the detective Conan" and so on. I had a good time in my GW.

  By the way, I think I want to write the second story of "Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories".
  The second story is about Tigger who is a stripy tiger bouncing pleasantly every time. Tigger appeared suddenly in front of Pooh and said "I don't eat anything for breakfast." So, they introduced each other and Pooh gave some honey to Tigger because Tiggger said "what tigers like the best is honey". After Tigger ate honey, he made a noise with his head on one side and said "what tigers like the best is everything except honey". Pooh was sad to hear that because he gave Tigger honey he likes the best.
  Like this, perhaps Pooh and Tigger is going to find something to eat for Tigger's breakfast, I think.

Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories (Week 2)

 

I am reading this book. This book is Favourite Winnie-the-pooh Stories written by A. A. Milne. Do you know Winnie the pooh? Actually, I have known it since I was a child. Winnie the pooh is very famous as one of the most popular Disney's characters and also there is an attraction of Pooh at Tokyo Disney Land. I like Pooh and the attraction very much. As I read it, it will make me happy I think, so I chose this book.

Without saying that, the main character is Pooh which is the bear living in one hundred acre forest in this book. He has many friends and likes honey very much. Also, I introduce you his friends because they often appear in this book. First is the pig named Piglet which is the best friend of Pooh. Second, the boy named Christopher Robin who always take care of Pooh. Third, the ass named Eeyore which has melancholy voice. There are many characters but I will introduce them when they appear.

This book tells us the story of the incidents happened around Pooh and his friends. The first story is losing Eeyore's house because of strong wind and heavy snow. So, Pooh and Piglet try building his house. I think they are very kind to their friends. Doing something for friend is very good and important thing to get along with. As a result of building Eeyore's house, Pooh and Piglet was thanked by  Eeyore. This relationships makes them more friendly.

This book will move on like this.
I have just started to read it, so I am looking forward to going on reading.



  

Self-introduction

  Hello. I am Haruka Sasai.
  I am a student at Doshisha Women's College and a member of AES course. I have been interested in English since I was an elementary student and have started to learn English at the same time. As I learned English, I thought I wanted to know foreign culture, to speak English, and to talk with foreign people by using English. So I've been studying English so hard. I want to have a job which uses English in the future. Also, I want to study abroad while I am a college student to learn many things because I think it must be an precious experience.
  I try to write other things about me. First, My hobby is listening to music and my favorite singer(group) is "One Direction" which is a group consisted of five boys of UK. Their songs and words always make me happy when I am in sad. I would like to send them a fan letter in English some day.
  Second, I have done a part-time job for one year. The job is a teacher of a private school and I teach English on Tuesday and Thursday there. Teaching English to the students is very difficult but I think it is a rewarding job.
  I would like to challenge many things and experience a variety of things and hope to be a mature person.
